WESTBROOK -- Southwest Christian senior Jazzy Prins, who became the school’s all-time leading scorer in girls basketball recently, set another record Monday night when she made a single-game record 13 steals in an 84-20 victory over Westbrook-Walnut Grove.

Prins scored her 1,428th career point in a Jan. 3 game against Red Rock Central, passing up the mark established by Kara (Van Dyke) Lindbergh set in 2010. On Monday, she put up 23 points to go along with her double-digit steals.

Teammate Kelsi Van Santen scored 11 points against W-WG.

Alli Vande Kieft and Bethany Byers each scored seven points to lead the Chargers. Camryn Bunting had nine rebounds.

FULDA -- Victorious Red Rock Central out-shot Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda 53 percent to 27 percent from the field to win.

Hannah Evans scored 18 points, Karli Arkell scored 16, and Nicole Schroepfer tallied 12 for the winners.

Throughout the game, the Falcons were able to work the ball inside.

Chrissy Hermeling was the only HL-O/F player in double figures with 14 points.

LAKE PARK, Iowa -- Freshmen Bria Wasmund and Madison Brouwer combined for 31 points as Sibley-Ocheyedan downed host Harris-Lake Park. Wasmund finished with 18 points while Brouwer had 13 along with seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

Abbis Bos, Kelli Greenfield and Marissa Ackerman scored eight points each.

Tessa Gunderson had eight points for Harris-Lake Park.

MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Adrian/Ellsworth overcame a 29-21 halftime deficit to beat Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey by three.

Ashlyn Meester led the way with 18 points. Jayden Zebe scored nine points and pulled down nine rebounds. Moriah Bullerman had five assists.

Sophie Carrison and Brooke Naas scored 13 and nine points, respectively, for MLA/C.

SLAYTON -- Murray County Central got off to a fast start and downed Edgerton Public.
